1 (18-ounce) tube pre-cooked polenta
2 tablespoons avocado oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Unwrap the tube polenta and trim off the rounded edges on all sides to make a long rectangle, then cut the rectangle into 1/2-inch slabs and cut each slab into 1/2-inch cubes.
- Toss the polenta cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, kosher salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 3 minutes.
- Air fry at 400°F for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes, until crisp and deeply golden.
- Cool the croutons for a few minutes before serving so the crust can set, then serve warm or at room temp.
